Our goal is to provide a happy shopping experience whether you shop in one of our neighborhood locations or by phone. Merchandise Availability Although our goal is to satisfy everyone, many of our must-have items do sell out very quickly, particularly those featured in local and national press. If you call to place an order, and the item is sold out, we will make every effort to notify you immediately. Some items are sometimes available again at a later date and we will contact you in this case. You are never charged for an item until it ships to you.
Occasionally, items will be available for pre-order. The expected shipping date will be listed, and we will do all we can to make sure your must-have item is on its' way to you by that date. Should there be a longer delay due to manufacturing, we'll let you know.
Please note- if your order requires multiple shipping on our behalf, you will only be charged one initial shipping charge, according to the method you selected. If an item you selected is on back-order, you will not be charged until we are able to ship that item to you. Payment Methods Olive and Bette's accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. We do not accept cash, money order or checks as a form of payment. We Value Your Privacy Our site is 100% secure. We guarantee the security of your personal information and on-line orders at all times. Sales Tax Depending on your locale, there's Good News/Bad News...sales tax is charged only for items shipped within the state of New York. New York State charges sales tax on any item over $110.00 and certain items, primarily accessories (jewelry, swimsuits, belts, etc.) listed at any price.
Revising Your Order If at any time you would like to adjust your online order, please contact us at 1.800.396.1236. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. If your order has already shipped, you can always exchange or return items.

Olive and Bettes is pleased to offer our customers FREE UPS ground shipping on all orders within the United States (48 contiguous states). In Store Pick-up You can also arrange to have your order ready for pick-up at any of our four Olive and Bette's Manhattan locations Monday through Friday. When you place your order, simply let our Shop Girls know what store and at what time you would like to pick up your order. We'll have it charged, wrapped and ready to go! Talk about instant gratification! Order Status/Tracking Information Orders placed by 12 noon Eastern Standard time will generally ship the same day provided your item is in stock. All orders, unless otherwise specified are shipped via UPS ground service; please request a tracking number from us if you want to check your package progress. You can visit UPS for guidelines regarding the delivery time for UPS ground service. If we expect an additional delay fulfilling your order, we will notify you. Returns & Exchanges Olive and Bette's wants to make returns and exchanges as simple as possible. More importantly, we want you to love everything, so please don't hesitate to let us know if something's not quite right!
Phone Order Exchange/Return Policy
By Mail Olive and Bette's will include a return address label in your original order. Please use this to return your order. For your protection, we suggest that you send your item(s) in a manner that requires a signature upon receipt. To expedite your request, please include your web site order number! Merchandise returned for exchange or refund must be received by oliveandbettes.com with 14 days of receipt of original purchase. Please send return or exchanges to the address below:

If you are exchanging or returning footwear, the original shoebox or bag must be included without postal labels. Undergarments, swimwear, accessories and sale items are NOT returnable.
Returning at a Retail Location Our commitment to an extraordinary shopping experience has just gotten better! Shopping should be easy, so we now offer the convenience to return or exchange a purchase made by phone at your favorite Olive and Bette's store.
For returns, simply drop off your return at any one of our four locations with your return/exchange form. Please let one of our Shop Girls know that you are making a phone order return. For exchanges, please make sure to bring your return/exchange form. If you would like to guarantee that the store has your size or style available, please contact our Shop Girls in advance at 1.800.396.1236. We'll make sure the item is ready for you upon arrival! Processing a Return/Exchange When sending a return/exchange by mail, please allow up to 5 business days for our team to process your return. Please be aware that it may take your credit card company up to 30 days to post your refund. Refunds can be made only in the original form of payment.
